LAP JOINT FLANGES

Overview

LAP JOINT FLANGES (Stainless Steel) are designed for applications that require frequent assembly, disassembly, or alignment adjustments. Used with a stainless steel stub end, the lap joint flange floats freely behind the stub end, allowing 360° rotation for simplified bolt-pattern alignment and reduced installation torque.

ACE supplies ASME/ANSI B16.5 stainless lap joint flanges in 304/304L, 316/316L and specialty alloys, along with full custom machining options including bore modifications, re-facing, custom bolt circles, polishing, and fabrication-level project support.

Lap joint flanges are ideal for corrosive service because the wetted component is the stainless stub end, allowing the backing flange to be manufactured from stainless or alternative alloys depending on application and cost requirements.
